Keystone is a small area communities of Summit County, and is widely known as a great place to go for skiers, snowboarders, Nordic skiers … really anyone who loves winter sports activities outdoors.
The area is loaded with lakes, hills, mountains and trails, so even if you areinclined closer to ice skating and hiking, there is more to do than simply slide down the hills. In addition to Keystone, Summit County also has skiing in Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin and Copper Mountain.
2. Summer activities in Breckenridge.
Breckenridge is a particularly pleasant place to spend summer vacation. Although it houses a very popular resort for skiing in winter, summer still has something to offer with its beautiful wild flowers and the Blue River. Breckenridge plays host to the Breckenridge Film Festival, if you're a movie junkie.
3. Tourist sites and monuments.
Every town of Summit County has a lot of history, and the locals will be happy to share with you.
